Working of the department

As the name suggests, primary task of this department is to prepare a ready to wear garment via stitching operations as per design specifications.

The multiple production lines are setup with line supervisor monitoring on each line. There are multiple stitching machines exists on single line. One operator operates on a single machine on a shift based working model.

The batch of production is divided into bundles of standard size and each bundle contains raw material required to prepare finish product out of it.

The process of stitching is divided into various operations. So these operator recives a bundle and perform some operation on it. The operators are paid as per operation performed. Therefore, operations performed by the operator are required to be recorded before it is handed over to the next operator in line for subsequent operation.

Once the finished garment is ready, checker will perform quality check at the last and if required the bundle will be returned back to the operator who has performed the operation. Otherwise, finished product will be submitted to the ware house and from there it will be deliverd to the client.

The objective of the system is to automate each and every aspect of this working in order to optimize the overall performance of the department.
